Goss International to manufacture wind turbines

As of November, the nacelles for Aeronautica’s 225kw and 750kw wind turbines will be manufactured at Goss’ 46,450sqm facility in New Hampshire.

The company is currently procuring the components to fulfil its first orders, with assembly set to commence towards the end of the year.

A US$100,000 job training grant was approved for the press manufacturer’s diversification into the wind turbine manufacturing market earlier this year, according to reports.

In addition to US$1.3m for the company, the money will allow Goss to train 115 staff for the new venture.

A company spokesman said printing equipment remains a primary focus for the business.
