The company says that the Re-board design consists of a patented sandwich construction, creating a light, strong and flat product, which is an ideal print surface and good thermal insulation.
Re-board is designed to replace MDF, chipboard, plywood, wood, metal and gypsum in many applications, and it functions as both a construction material and visual communication medium, answering the market need for function and sustainability, according to HVG.
Richard Lucas, business manager, graphics, Halifax Vogel Group says, “Re-board is an amazingly lightweight yet strong substrate that can be used for a multitude of internal and external applications, more specifically as a print medium and visual display material. The product comes with a range of accessories to support creative designs and is ideal for the growing digital flatbed market.”
The company continues that Re-board can be used for point of sale stands, exhibitions, furniture and interior design. Adding that easy to mount and handle, Re-board also supports large scale and creative applications such as ramps, furniture and 3D models offering an easy solution to innovative designs.
HVG also says that Re-board provides excellent protection against the elements including moisture from the air, ensuring perfect planar flatness even in humid conditions, a characteristic of a paper based material. Re-board will not bend or warp even in moist conditions and is also water resistant and fire retardant (on request). Re-board is guaranteed for one year in external use when the surface and edges are sealed.
Stock is now available in every HVG branch across Australia.
