The success of Heidelberg Women in Print is in part due to
the support and enthusiasm of those women from the print media industry across Australia
who attended the dinners in 2007. As well, the dinners could not take place
without the continued support of major sponsor Heidelberg
Australia and
new major contributors, Geon and Blue Star Print Group. Also onboard this time
as associate sponsors are Print Super, Fuji Xerox Australia
and Adobe. The bulk of the organising for Heidelberg Women in Print dinners is
done by patron sponsors in each state – Heaney's Performers in Print (QLD),
GAMAA Australia (for NSW), Edwards Dunlop (VIC & WA) and Fivestar Print
(SA).
Heidelberg Women in Print is a collective of women in the
print media industry and provides a networking forum to support, recognise and
benefit women from all walks of life within and around the industry. Through
regularly meeting and interacting Heidelberg Women in Print acknowledges,
reflects on and seeks to develop the contribution women make to the prosperity
and character of the printing community in Australia.
