HP Scitex XP2750 on display at PacPrint09

Shane Lucas Director Graphic Arts HP South Pacific says this 3.2m wide UV printer is designed on a proven industrial platform and is ideal for high volume industrial environments.

Lucas says, “In today’s signage environment the ability to be flexible with your offer is vital if you are going to stand out. The newly released HP Scitex XP2750 gives Print Service Providers (PSPs) the flexibility to produce a range of signage for indoor and outdoor applications.”

He continues, “HP’s extensive range of printers ensures that PSPs have access to new technologies and solutions to drive their business forward. We invite visitors to PacPrint to view the latest offerings from HP Scitex on the CPI stand where our two newest additions – the HP Scitex XP2750 and the HP Scitex FB6100 printer – will be operational.”

According to HP, the Scitex XP2750 delivers superior up to 800 by 635 dpi and has a production speed of up to 110 sqm/hr. The printer supports a wide range of flexible media including polyethylene, mesh, vinyl, and Tyvek.

The company continues that with the optional Flatbed Module the printer can also handle rigid substrates such as foam PVC and acrylic sheets up to 2.5 m wide by 2.0 m long and up to 6.35 cm thick.

Meanwhile, HP also outlines that its Scitex FB6100 is able to print on a range of wide-format, rigid or flexible media including glass, wood, metals, or more conventional media such as foam board, PVC, corrugated plastic, and MDO/MDF up to 50mm thick. The HP Scitex FB6100 also comes with a White Ink kit which facilitates overprinting and coverage of non-white areas.
