Hunkeler says an important part of the Innovationdays event is the 60 partners and co-exhibitors, ranging from well known names of the digital printer manufacturers to solutions providers for pre-press, consumables, and finishing.
According to the company, one of the main attractions of the Innovationdays is the focus on real and usable applications. In Lucerne the exhibitors do not showcase single solutions but congruous applications centring on true customer’s needs.
The company says, “In close collaboration our partners’ systems, joined with Hunkeler finishing solutions show a connected workflow concept. The synergies can be seen everywhere: in the digital printing of a mailing product, to added value finishing on a Hunkeler web finishing line, and the continued quality control and tracking of the products and jobs all the way to automated reprints.”
According to Hunkeler, A highlight of the event is the numerous new digital colour printing systems and the special requirements for the finishing of the different substrates. The handling of these products presents the challenge for which the Hunkeler POPP6 generation of finishing equipment has been designed.
The considerable advantages of the POPP6 family are also available now for the web width of up to 670mm with the new POPP7 generation of machines, says Hunkeler. With this group of components Hunkeler again strengthens its leadership position in the finishing arena of digital printed products.
