Ian Bowden passes on

The managing director of Adelaide printer and family business Bowden Printing, Bowden (pictured) also served at both state and national levels at Printing Industries.

He began his association with Printing Industries in 1999 as a member of the South Australian and Northern Territory regional council. In 2000, he became regional council vice-president and an alternate national councilor.

In 2003, he was appointed president of the regional council and national vice-president. He continued to serve in the association’s executive team until this year, when illness forced him to take leave of absence.

His funeral service will be held at 3.30pm on October 13 in the Heysen Chapel in Centennial Park, Goodwood Road, Pasadena, South Australia.

His family has asked that donations be made to the Cancer Council of South Australia in lieu of floral tributes. This can be done via the Cancer Council of SA, PO Box 929, Unley, 5061, South Australia.

Bowden is survived by his wife Leonie and children Naomi and Luke.
