Industry icon Ron Hoolahan passes away

Ron passed in the early hours of this morning at the Sands Hospital in Sydney, after reportedly succumbing to cancer. He was 63 years old.

Ron will be best remembered for his work as owner and director of Graphic World Printing, which was later acquired by the GEON group. He started in the industry at the age of 15 working at a government printer, though would go on to own and operate a series of companies at home and abroad, including US-based Cyber Graphics.

Family members said Ron would be remembered for his “commitment to his business, but more his commitment to his staff and the support he gave them”.

A service for Ron will be held this Thursday at 2.30pm at the Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium.
