The Ipex Guided Tours are divided into three categories: pre-media/pre-press/digital solutions; printing/output/ancillary services and post-press/ finishing.
Running three times a day – once for each category – major industry players taking part in the tour include Canon, Duplo, Friedheim International, Fujifilm, Heidelberg, Horizon, HP, KBA, Kodak, Komori, Manroland, Morgana, Pitney Bowes and Ricoh.
The tours will allow visitors to spend 15 minutes at the stands of each participating exhibitor. Perfect for investigating a particular product or service area, they will educate visitors as well as showcase the latest innovations reinvigorating the international graphic arts industry, according to organisers.
Nick Craig Waller, marketing director of Ipex 2010 says, “We know that many of the over 1000 exhibiting companies will use Ipex as an international platform to launch new products and innovations.”
He continues, “The Guided Tours take visitors by the hand and lead them to the experts at selected exhibitors’ stands. It’s a time efficient and productive way to get right to the heart of the action and sample the technology hotspots at Ipex in a short time span.”
