IPMG appoints Dunsford CEO print

The company has also announced that long serving
Hannanprint CEO Tony Dedda will retire in October, following the successful
relocation of the business to Warwick Farm.. Dedda will be succeeded by
Hannanprint CFO Adrian O’Connor. Group CEO Stephen Anstice has already said he
will be retiring, on June 30.

Kevin Slaven, who will be formally taking over as CEO of
IPMG from Anstice as from July 1, says “I am truly excited to announce the
appointment of Craig to this position. Craig is currently the General Manager at
Offset Alpine and has been employed within the Group for over 17 years. He has
a lifetime of experience within the printing industry having worked in it for
over 33 years and is highly respected by customers, suppliers and workmates
alike. Craig will add significant value to the strategic direction of IPMG’s
printing operations as we continue to pursue profitable growth opportunities
while working within an industry that is going through structural changes to
address overcapacity.

Following the restructure, Michael Kinninmont (managing director
Offset Alpine and Inprint) and Tony Dedda (managing director Hannanprint) will
report directly to Dunsford, as will the national sales roles of Bruce Stewart
and Garth Hackett.

Craig Dunsford says “I’m delighted to accept the role of chief
executive officer, print with IPMG and to continue playing a key role within
this great organisation. Our industry is certainly throwing up many challenges,
but all IPMG printing businesses are in good shape and are strategically well
positioned thanks to the experienced management and talented teams at each of
our printing plants.

“Together with the divisional managing directors, Michael
Kinninmont and Tony Dedda, my focus will be on delivering further improvements
to the benefit of all stakeholders, including our long list of great customers
and our wonderful staff. We intend to continue to invest in technology and
training and to broaden our offering to the market. I have an enviable platform
from which to build the next stage of our development as we remain committed to
this great industry”.

Dedda’s retirement comes as Hannanprint completes its move
to Warwick Farm. IPMG executive chairman Michael Hannan says “It is with a
degree of sadness that I accept Tony’s decision to retire later this year. Tony
has been the managing director of Hannanprint for the last 12 years, and has
been with the Group for over 20 years. He has overseen the recent relocation of
Hannanprint at Alexandria to Warwick Farm and has decided that this marks the
end of an era and that it is time for him to hand over the reins to the next
generation of leaders coming through the business. To this effect, I am pleased
to announce that Adrian O’Connor will take over the direct stewardship of
Hannanprint as from October 1 2013. This will allow time for an appropriate
hand-over from Tony to Adrian.”

Tony Dedda says “It has been my absolute pleasure to have
been at the helm of Hannanprint for the last 12 years. There have been many
challenges, opportunities and restructures that have made the stewardship an
awesome one. I will no doubt miss the people, our valued customers and the
events, but my greatest reward is the knowledge that I leave the company in
good hands. In the transition, I look forward to working with Craig, Michael
Kinninmont, Adrian and the print teams to position our companies to be the best
and the greatest in a very challenging industry”.

Hannan says “On behalf of the Board and the Hannan family,
I would like to acknowledge the tremendous contribution that Tony has made to
the business over many years. His dedication and experience will be sorely
missed as will his sense of humour and happy demeanour. His is an individual
well-liked and respected by staff, customers and suppliers”.
