The event, which will incorporate the Ken Law Public Speaking A ward, will focus on the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to successfully deliver informal and formal presentations to small or large groups. Attendees will then be given the opportunity to put what they’ve learned in to action to vie for the award.
Rodney Williams of JPE says, “This year’s JPE Self-Development Evening will focus on the knowledge, skills and abilities you’ll need to successfully deliver informal and formal presentations to small and large groups. Participants will invited to deliver an impromptu presentation at the conclusion of the session in an informal and supportive environment, competing for the Ken Law Public Speaking Award, which will be awarded on the night.
“Anyone who may be asked to make short presentations for internal work situations, customer visits, associations, sales proposals and meetings of all descriptions will benefit from this session.”
Barbara Allwright will be presenting the night. Allwright is a highly qualified learning and development consultant working with Fuji Xerox. Her work currently focuses on sales teams in developing skills and knowledge required to successfully work with and manage their client base.
