JPE NSW gears up for 70th AGM

JPE NSW was founded in 1936 as an educational and training forum for managers and future executives within the Printing and Graphic Arts Industry. JPE is closely affiliated with the Printing Industries Association of Australia and seeks to promote the professional self-development of the individual.

The association strives to provide a comprehensive programme of professional development activities and guest speakers of the highest calibre are invited to address these activities.

A variety of topics from industry and technical matters to current affairs and general interests are covered in an entertaining yet educational forum. Plant visits to paper mills, printing establishments and other sites are also incorporated into each year’s activities.

JPE works closely with the Printing Industries Association of Australia in the area of careers, counselling and public relations and is becoming increasingly involved in industry training.

The 70th Annual General Meeting of JPE NSW will be held on Wednesday November 1, 2006 at Oatlands House, 42 Bettington Road, Oatlands, NSW with members and visitors gathering from 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. The meeting will also include speaker presentations relating to Recruitment and Succession Planning by Andy McCourt and James Cryer.

More information is available at the association’s website, www.jpensw.com.au.
