
The device recirculates hot air, reducing power consumption and the volume of exhaust air from the system.
Compared with a typical infrared/hot-air dryer, KBA claimed its system could save companies more than 50% in power consumption, therefore halving electricity costs.
It said that with drying power consumption accounting for around 40% of the overall power consumption of a press, this could have a significant impact on a company’s bottom line.
The dryer will be on show at this year’s Ipex show, which takes place in the UK city of Birmingham between 18 and 25 May.
