KBA opens newly-renovated training centre

The training centre, which first opened in 2001, had been approaching full capacity, with over 1000 participants attending training courses at the centre each year.

The new extension includes a second press hall, with two new Rapida presses being installed: a five-colour Rapida 105 in a coater configuration and an eight-colour Rapida 106 perfector for 4-over-4 production.

“The training centre now boasts a fine equipment base,” said KBA president Albrecht Bolza-Schünemann. “Our coming task is to bring this new home to life.”
