The highlight of the Graph-Pak stand was its Autobond laminators, with two being sold during the first day of the show.
Ralph says the laminators, which are available in sizes from B3 to B1, enables printers to keep their finishing work in house and has the potential to save $300,000 to $1m a year.
He says, “We expect to sell six to 10 Autobonds in the next few weeks, everyone is trying to take the cost out of their business and that’s where we focus with all our products.”
“Ralph adds, “The Autobond is a benchmark, even our competition have complimented us during the show, so we must be doing something right.”
Autobond laminators are available in a wide range of configurations such as water-based or thermal film, single-sided or perfecting. Other finishing processes such as embossing, UV coating, the application of magnetic material, can be incorporated into the laminators and carried out in-line, according to Graph-Pak.
