As managing director, Fleming will be responsible for company operations and the market strategies for Kodak’s consumer digital products and commercial print solutions. This will involve overseeing continued innovations in dry labs for retail printing, high-volume digital production presses, workflow software solutions and digital plates for commercial printing.
Fleming is currently sales & strategic product groups director GCG ANZ, where he oversees the national operations for the Graphics Communications Group. Fleming’s predecessor Steve Venn will be taking a new role within Kodak as the director of strategic account management and channels for the Asia Pacific Region, based in Singapore.
Commenting on the appointment Venn says, “I am pleased to announce Adrian’s appointment as MD. In his nine years at Kodak, Adrian has brought new energy and enthusiasm to the company.
“His open and approachable management style is an asset to the Australian organisation. This new role recognises the work Adrian has done to date and the contributions that I expect him to make as we continue to remain the world’s foremost imaging innovator.”
Fleming’s strong background in sales and business management is expected to be a key factor in driving Kodak’s sustained and profitable growth through 2011 and beyond.
