Kodak appoints manroland ANZ distributor for inkjet heads

Steve Venn, managing director of Kodak Australia says, “We are excited about this new partnership, as the agreement is a great opportunity for Kodak to extend its reach into the web-fed print market.

“A key attribute that attracted us to manroland was their experience in different channels. They are well known for delivering top results and we are very excited about the opportunities that they will offer.”

Also commenting on the agreement, Steve Dunwell, managing director of manroland Australasia says the partnership will have a positive impact on manroland‘s current and future customers.

Dunwell says, “Expanding our product portfolio with the added value of inline digital variable data, the Kodak inkjet print heads offer new business models and opportunities for our customers. This is an easily integrated solution with flexibility to imprint at the full speed of the press, positioned anywhere on the web and with variable widths.”

Existing Kodak S and D series inkjet customers will continue to be supplied consumables and service directly from Kodak, however manroland Australasia will take over this responsibility in the long term.
