David Procter, national manager of production printing at Konica Minolta says the new building is a sign of Konica Minolta’s growth in the market place and will also give the company an opportunity to display a wider range of products.
He says, “The new centre will allow us to demonstrate our own equipment as well as third party’s such as the Kodak Next Press. The facility is a huge investment but it gives Konica Minolta the room to continue to grow.”
Procter continues, “In some areas the economy is going through tough times but investments such as the new showroom is helping us prepare for recovery. As well as having a much wider range of options on display the new facility will also be the base for all of Konica Minolta’s training and education.”
Konica Minolta has also obtained the naming rights for the building, which will be known as the Konica Minolta house. The company says it plans to utilise the new building for the next ten years.
Procter also says, “The new facility will give visitors the opportunity to not only see where the market is at the moment, but where the equipment is heading.”
