Konica Minolta sponsors breast cancer luncheon

Konica Minolta Australia is continuing its support of the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) by sponsoring the 2016 Pink Lady luncheon series.

The luncheon series is the charity’s largest annual fundraiser and speakers this year include former governor-general of Australia, The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce AD, and former NSW treasurer and breast cancer survivor, The Honourable Nick Greiner AC.

Dr David Cooke, managing director of Konica Minolta Australia says, “We are passionate about giving back to communities in which our business operates. BCNA’s organisational values of energy, openness, caring, connection, and resilience are closely aligned with Konica Minolta’s own company vision and culture.

“The partnership with BCNA helps us live out these values whilst providing much needed financial support to an organisation and its people, who work tirelessly to empower those in difficult or vulnerable stages of their lives.”

Spots are still open for the remaining Pink Lady luncheons which take place in Sydney on September 22 and Melbourne on October 4.

Konica Minolta commenced its partnership with BCNA back in 2011 and has given employees the opportunity to volunteer with the charity and has also donated printing equipment.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting Australian women and in 2016 it is estimated that 15,934 women and 150 men will be diagnosed with the disease.
