Konica Minolta will host a half-day seminar on October 15, on ways to increase profitability, productivity and create long term success.
Starting with breakfast, the free event – titled Out of the Box – has presentations by eight companies; Adobe, Investec, BJ Ball, Symantec, Morgana, EFI, Kodak and Anitech; on topics such as cloud computing, finance, rental software and reducing paper stock overheads.
David Procter, general manager of production printing at Konica Minolta, tells Australian Printer, “One of the things we are trying to do at Konica Minolta is help printers understand where the business is going. The printing industry has been in a bit of chaos for the last four to five years, with a lot of companies are going broke, closing up, or going offshore.
“The seminar is to try and help printers get back on track and build their businesses for the future. With eight short sessions on the day we provide them with a lot of information fast, rather than coming for one presentation – it is a lot of work just to get there and leave after hearing one person speak.
“Not one talk will be a product push. It will be an explanation of what is going on in their area of the market.”
The seminar will also include prizes and giveaways. To register and book a parking space, visit the Out of the Box page on the Konica Minolta website.
