Evan Atkins, general manager, Labelcraft says, “We saw what KBA had to offer as the logical choice for us. Our decision was based on what we felt was the best fit for us in terms of what we can offer the market – we also felt the KBA presence in the packaging market locally and abroad meant they were the right company to partner with.”
Labelcraft specialises in printed folding cartons and blister cards, Its Villawood, NSW, site specialises in these products and has seen a good increase in volume over the last few years.
Atkins says, “Our machinery is well suited to our client’s needs – whenever we buy equipment we look at quality and reliability. Our latest investment in KBA really suits what we can offer our clients in terms of quality and innovation – we need to be able to offer clients high quality, innovative packaging products that enhances their own brands.”
He says “A lot of our work is pharmaceutical and not many industries demand the same processes and documentation so our training and procedures are designed around this and reflect the demands of that market. We are ISO9001 accredited and this forms the basis of what we do here.”
KBA manufacturing sales in Asia and the Pacific contributed 27.4 per cent of the group total in the last fiscal year.
