Last call for NSW Print Excellence Awards

Philip Andersen CEO of Printing Industries says the event is a celebration of industry achievement and sustainability across several spheres.

He says, “The theme for 2009 is sustain, grow and profit, a fitting theme in the current global environment and one that seems to have been unpinning the attitude of many of our members as they come to terms with the impacts of the Global Financial Crisis and the opportunities created with the increased emphasis on environmental and business sustainability.”

Andersen continues, “We have had an excellent response from industry submitting their best work for judging in the hope of winning a Gold award and going on to compete in the National Print Awards next March in Sydney.

“Companies are looking for an edge, for achievement that is marketable to new and existing customers and our Excellence Awards provide the vehicle for this.”

Andersen also says that while 2009 has been a very difficult year for the industry, events such as the printing industry awards provid an opportunity to put that aside for a few hours to enjoy some positive camaraderie.
