Our recent Indigo certifications for DNS indigo and Color Copy indigo and the introduction of DNS high-speed inkjet appeal to the professional print market and will certainly be a point of interest at this year’s Hunkeler Innovation days.”

According to Mondi, DNS indigo and Color Copy indigo are HP three-star approved uncoated fine papers, which are tailored to professional printers who use HP Indigo digital presses.

During the production process of these papers a special primer is applied to ensure perfect adhesion of HP’s ElectroInk. The three-star approval is the highest performance rating for HP Indigo digital presses. It indicates the best performance in terms of runnability, fixing and blanket compatibility.

Last year Mondi launched DNS premium as the digital printing paper that offers printers a single printing solution for any application. The company adds that the hybrid character of the DNS range also offers printers more versatility in terms of machine use and is ideal for use on digital production machines, office laser printers, inkjet printers and copiers as well as offset presses.

Mondi’s complete digital printing portfolio consists of papers that are also part of Mondi’s Green Range of eco-friendly papers. All Green Range papers are FSC certified, bleached without chlorine, or 100 per cent recycled.

The 2011 Hunkeler Innovation Days will be held February 14-17 in Lucerne, Switzerland.
