The Race Day will be held at Brisbane’s Eagle Farm Race Course on 31 August and will be an afternoon package, including food and drinks.

LIA committee member Terry Mays told ProPrint the event would give hard-working members of the industry the chance to relax.

“It’s been a very tough year for some, and having a half-day for everyone to enjoy themselves and catch-up with old friends is always great,” he said.

“We’re calling for anyone from the industry to join us: printers, designers, sales reps.”

Screen Offset, Platypus Graphics, Fuji Xerox Australia and Kayell are all onboard as sponsors, with more to come.

More than 100 guests turned out for last year’s event and Mays is expecting a similar showing.
