Attendees will have the rare opportunity to view their lab, quality control, and ink manufacturing areas as well as their raw materials and dangerous goods storage. The tour will be followed by a Chinese banquet at the Auburn Tennis and Recreation Club, close by the DIC site.
DIC will be co- sponsoring the night, meaning the LIA is able to offer a special no cost rate to apprentices, trainees or cadets who are accompanying full paying members or non-members to both the plant tour and dinner.
Ian Johns, managing director of DIC Australia & New Zealand, will be the guest speaker for the evening.
The cost is $40 for LIA members or $45 for non-members.
