Lifhart to present Draabe at PacPrint

Gert Diepold, managing director of LIfhart which distributes Draabe in Australia says visitors to his stand will receive a full appreciation of the benefits of the latest water treatment and humidification systems. Diepold says, “Draabe solutions are not just for the big printers, small and medium sized operations will gain significant production efficiencies through Draabe, as managing the pressroom climate takes out potential problem,s such as sheet curl and static.”

Diepold will also be discussing Lifhart’s rental option for Draabe solutions, which comes with full maintenance agreement. Among the more well known names to install Draabe recently have been Offset Alpine, West Australian Newspapers and Blue Star.

It is Draabe who through its humidification and water treatment systems, which were installed in the basements of hall one and two at drupa, took on the huge responsibility to assure a constant relative humidity in the halls and provide all the process water for the Heidelberg presses.

The Drabbe solution had a combined output of 1000 litres per hour of reverse osmosis water. Part of that water was used to keep the halls at a constant 55 per cent relative humidity. This was achieved using over 30 air humidifiers. The rest of the RO water was dosed up to Heidelberg specs and piped to the presses as process water.
