Lucas takes IPG VP and GM role at HP

In his new role, Lucas will be responsible for
driving HP's imaging and printing business, covering products, solutions and
market strategy for Australia
and New Zealand.
In addition, he will be responsible for go-to-market initiatives to accelerate
the development, growth and profitability across the region. He will also host
the consumer segment go-to-market strategy for all product categories, ranging
from handhelds to personal computers and printers, on behalf of HP South
Pacific.

Lucas
will still be overseeing the Graphic Arts business and continues to be
supported by the extensive HP South Pacific Graphic Arts team
including Ben Ho and Pankaj Gupta for HP Designjet, Rob
West for HP Indigo, and Bruce Caldwell for HP Scitex.

Lucas joined HP in 2001 and has successfully led many
IPG businesses including Enterprise,
Commercial and Graphics. He has been instrumental in building new
business approaches such as Multi-Function Printing, Pay Per Use and Managed
Print Services. Lucas has twenty years of experience in the IT industry,
including management roles in key channel partners. He was formerly HP director
of graphic arts for the South Pacific.

As VP, General Manager, Imaging & Printing and
Consumer Group, HP South Pacific, Lucas
assumes the role previously held by Christoph Schell. Schell departed at the
end of 2007 to become Vice President for IPG Asia Pacific Japan Consumer
Go-to-Market Unit, based in Singapore.
