MacDermid Graphics Solutions is now successfully integrated with XSYS, a global integrated solutions provider to the flexographic, letterpress and pre-press printing markets.

MacDermid Graphics Solutions Oceania general manager Tony Dalleore told Sprinter the move has created “one of the largest operations in the market sector”.

“With this integration, we reaffirm our commitment to being a leading company in the flexographic, letterpress, and pre-press printing industries. By combining our strengths, we will be even better positioned to deliver outstanding quality, superior technical service, and groundbreaking innovation.”

The news comes following XSYS’ acquisition of MacDermid Graphics Solutions from Element Solutions Inc. The transaction was signed on 1 September 2024 and has been approved by all the relevant regulators globally.

XSYS Group CEO Dr. Alexander Unterschuetz said, “We are excited to announce the completion of this transformative combination and to join forces with our new MacDermid Graphics Solutions colleagues.

“This transaction creates significant value and opportunities as a result of the complementarity of both businesses’ product portfolio, services, and employees, thus making us a more complete solution provider for our customers.

The combined business is expected to have a workforce of approximately 850 employees worldwide and turnover of approximately €370 million.
