Masterbind steps up

Chr GmbH & Co CEO Peter Renz visited Australia recently to launch Masterbind’s latest wire binding products and to announce the plans to provide more backing to Masterbind’s efforts.

Stocks of both spools and cut lengths of the binding wire used for calendars, diaries, reports and in general office use have recently been increased in each state.

Renz says the larger stocks will help avoid occasions when wire bind finishing has to be transferred to other finishing methods because of insufficient stock from all suppliers of a particular colour or size.

“Worldwide the use of ring wire binding is still fast growing and is significantly higher than the estimated increase in total finishing,” he says.

The new commitment to the Australian market follows the PacPrint launch of the Renz WP300 wire dispenser and a complete new range of punching an inserting machines for plastic spiral binding.

Later this year Renz will launch the Renz MoBi, a low priced semi-automatic ring wire binding machine, onto the Australian market. The new machine is capable of binding all sizes up to 500mm wide in 3.1 and 2.1 formats and will have an optional attachment which automatically inserts a calendar hanger whilst closing the wire.

Orders are already being taken in Australia and New Zealand.
