ProPrint has closed for Christmas after another 12 months of non-stop industry news.

The year had everything: Geon collapsed, PacPrint gave printers the chance to see the latest technology on home shores, while Offset Alpine and Platypus starred at the National Print Awards.

ProPrint grew strongly in 2013. The number of subscribers to the industry's only daily newsletter jumped 18% to 9,011. The year before, it grew from 5,044 to 7,639.

We also generated a lot of interest through social media, with our Twitter following climbing from 1,540 to 2,210, our Facebook likes increasing from 252 to 575, and our LinkedIn membership skyrocketing from 396 to 971. We'll continue to be active on social media during the holidays.
