In a move to build on local business, Mutoh Australia has named Romano Bacci as its new general manager.
Bacci joins Mutoh Australia from Epson, where he served for more than 20 years in several roles – he was most recently its Australian professional print solutions business manager for about 17 years, and previously had stints in its Singapore operations as well.
Mutoh Australia managing director Russell Cavenagh said, “I’m very pleased Romano has elected to join our growing team at Mutoh Australia in the role of general manager.
“Romano brings over 20 years of wide format product logistics, marketing and channel management experience and he will be instrumental in assisting our next stage of growth for the Mutoh brand.”
Bacci said, “I’ve known Russell for many years, and I’ve been impressed with the stability and growth that he’s brought to the brand in the A/NZ market. I see this move as an exciting opportunity to use my industry knowledge and experience to continue driving the business forward and take it to the next level of success.
“Having spent many years with a premium brand, it was important to me that I continue my career with another, and Mutoh fits that bill perfectly. Known for premium quality, they remain the only one of the big brands to continue all printer manufacturing in Japan.”
