The software analyses these measurements and sends colour adjustment commands directly to the display monitor, maintain the full-colour resolution and fidelity of the system.
The SpectraView II software includes improved compatibility for X-Rite’s ColorMunki spectrophotometer on Mac OS and Windows.
Michelle Hancox, product specialist for NEC’s Display Solutions Division, said: “The SpectraView II Colour Calibration software alongside NEC’s LCD displays are revolutionising the way flat-panel monitors can be used, delivering advanced functionality in the most intelligent visual display solution on the market.”
SpectraView II is available for Mac OS and Windows, either for $159 standalone or as a bundle with certain NEC displays and light shielding hood.
