New CFO appointed in PaperlinX reshuffle

According to PaperlinX, Kennedy has significant experience both in finance and throughout the company, and has done an outstanding job of managing the financial operations of its North American business, with particular success around working capital and cashflow management.

Wayne Johnston has been promoted to deputy CFO reporting to Kennedy. Johnston will retain his current accountabilities around financial accounting, consolidation, reporting and systems as well as additional responsibilities in governance and supporting the Board.

In his 18 months with the business Johnston has been instrumental in streamlining finance processes and building the capability of the finance team, according to PaperlinX.

Also as part of the reshuffle, David Shirer, executive general manager corporate affairs has resigned to take up another position and will be leaving PaperlinX in September 2010. James Orr has been promoted to the position and will also report to Tom Park.

Orr will continue with his current accountabilities for company secretarial, legal and insurance as well as taking on the investor relations, media, annual report and external communication aspects of the current Corporate Affairs portfolio.
