The company says that by adopting clearly defined contemporary design, confident regularity and bold colours, the symbolic visual identity emphasis’s the values of DES, which is committed to providing reliable and technically superior integrated digital imaging solutions to the professional graphic arts, proofing, publishing, packaging, photographic, fine art, CAD and AEC markets.
According to DES the make-up of the design signifies the principles DES represents. The proportion of the logo and the logotype is meaningfully considered; priority is given to the bold and confident long-term prosperity of the DES brand. The tagline is representative of the underlying theme within the DES values- to continually be moving forward and remaining distinctive within the marketplace.
The tagline Beyond Creation highlights the DES aspiration to be an inspirational market leader, built on the foundation of diversity, experience and knowledge. Beyond Creation aims to capture the consumer’s imagination, and inspire them to explore new opportunities with confidence.
Ian Clare, managing director of DES says, “We are moving into new varied markets and felt that this was the right time to drive the brand with a fresh and professional new image. We aim to be a distinctive leader in the market, and went for a distinctive logo that would be meaningful both in the immediate and long term future.”
