NPA Emerging Talent winner to receive a trip to the UK

The National Print Awards (NPAs) has announced that the winner of the Emerging Talent Award, sponsored by Konica Minolta, will receive a professional development experience in London.

Open to apprentices, trainees, and early-career professionals, the Emerging Talent Award will be judged across excellence, innovation and leadership. Entrants will be evaluated by a judging panel and the Visual Media Association (VMA) board of directors.

The winner of the Emerging Talent Award will join the winner of the Women in Industry Award and receive an exclusive professional development experience in London, that will feature:

  • A return trip to London in November including:
    • Attendance to the Power of Print Conference,
    • A tour of the Ricoh UK Experience Centre, showcasing cutting-edge print technology and innovation,
    • Industry engagement and introductions with leading organisations, including Two Sides International Country Managers meeting, BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation), World Land Trust and other key industry bodies, and
    • A tour of the UK print industry, connecting with leading professionals, and gaining insights into the future of print and visual media industry as well as build an international network.

Kellie Northwood CEO of the VMA said, “Our industry is built on innovation, craftsmanship, and evolving technologies – but most importantly, it is built on people. This Award celebrates those who are beginning their journey in our industry and are already demonstrating high levels of skill and passion. The VMA is proud to honour their contributions.

“The week of activities planned across the London tour will include a jam-packed experience for all including learning from our international colleagues and gaining insights from international brands and customers to develop our careers and approaches. This tour will inspire confidence, reward hard work, and demonstrate to our emerging professionals that their contribution matters”.
