Océ says the system was acclaimed for its combination of colour productivity and monochrome speed. Jeff Hayes, President of Info Trends, which partners with On Demand to produce the awards programme, said: “This award is is meant to recognise exceptional innovation in the digital printing industry. Océ says its ColorStream 10000 Flex digital press delivers the fastest toner-based, colour-capable black and white productivity in the market, with up to 1,515 letter-size (1,425 A4) ppm. It adds that, as a colour press, the 172-ppm system produces more than five million full-colour, letter-size prints a month.
