Saskia Willems, international product manager for the Océ VarioPrint 3070, says Océ developed the system in response to customers’ needs for an entry-level production system.
“The Océ VarioPrint 3070 offers a real mid volume cutsheet print solution in smaller central environments, decentral environments and environments that handle short-run cutsheet volumes as well as continuous feed ultra high volume applications”, says Willems.
“Those in our considerable installed base continually exhibited a need for a solution in this speed and volume range. The Océ VarioPrint 3070 is the answer to that need.”
The Océ VarioPrint 3070 is based on the 85-page-per-minute Océ VarioPrint 3090, which Océ brought to market earlier this year.
“The Océ VarioPrint 3090 combines the strengths of Océ core technology in a single machine. These include the processing power we apply in our ultra high volume print systems and our unique Copy Press engine and print technology. Océ VarioPrint 3090 customers report that the system meets their needs for productivity, reliability and quality. Since the Océ VarioPrint 3070 applies the same technologies, we expect it to play the same crucial role in business critical print applications: invoices, statements, policies, distribution documents, etc. in manufacturing, retail and wholesale, financial and insurance environments,” says Willems.
“The Océ VarioPrint 3070 can easily replace our large installed base in these applications and environments but, of course, it is also ideal as a brand-new solution.”
