Opus adds to arsenal in expansion push

The Group’s range of digital and POD equipment includes twenty one digital devices as well as the two new machines throughout Singapore, Australia – both Sydney and Canberra – and New Zealand.

A statement from the company outlines, “The new machines complement a further twenty offset presses and full in-house binding makes Opus the regional one-stop shop for print on demand, enabling efficient and seamless content creation to end user consumption.”

Opus also claims that the new Indigos represent a significant investment towards zero inventory using the print on demand and distribute and print models with its ability to print low quantities in shorter periods at litho-comparable quality.

Opus will be showcasing the regional business services offering at the upcoming London Book Fair which will also include the latest release of the Opus proprietary IPALM platform.

IPALM is the technology bridge providing a seamless Asia Pacific-wide traditional and digital supply chain solution with global reach allowing customers to maximise their revenue opportunities across multiple content and service delivery platforms, according to the company.
