Ron Patterson chairman of the PacPrint ’05 Board says, “The education programme offers an extremely high calibre of workshops which will truly add value to the PacPrint experience.
Suppliers including Adobe, Epson, Heidelberg, Creo, Fuji Xerox, Intergrafica Print & Pack, Megtec Systems, Applied Pressroom Technologies, Kodak Versamark, and Creo will present workshops across a variety of subjects.
According to the organiser the PacPrint Educational Workshop Program is designed to bring customers up to speed on the latest thinking from around the world; thinking that is designed to drive volume and return profits.
Patterson says, “There will be presentations focussing on the practical aspects of adopting technology as well as sessions that address ways in which users can apply technology to not only increase productivity, but also profitability.
Industry associations will also participate in the programme with sessions being conducted by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA), the Printing Industries Association of Australia (Printing Industries), the Graphic Arts Services Association of Australia (GASAA), National Printing Industry Training Council (NPITC), and the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA).
“The extensive workshop programme PacPrint offers to visitors at no cost will go a long way to informing decision-makers about equipment, marketing and new directions,” concludes Patterson.

PacPrint is the largest and most significant trade exhibition for the printing and graphic technologies industry in the Southern Hemisphere, staged every four years. It is an event which the industry acknowledges as a conduit for new information and global directions, with visitors attending from throughout the Asia Pacific region.
PacPrint is presented by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA), and the Printing Industries Association of Australia (Printing Industries).
