PacPrint13: Epson

Epson will expand its presence at PacPrint13, with a larger stand showcasing its latest printers for colour-critical textile, label, sign and display applications. These include the new 44-inch SureColor SC-F6000 roll-fed dye sublimation printer and the SurePress L-4033A short-run digital label press.

“PacPrint13 presents Epson with the chance to make a comprehensive declaration about the breadth and depth of our technology and support in key market segments on the back of new product releases over the past 12 months,” says Craig Heckenberg, business unit manager for Epson Australia.

This will be the first Australian outing for the SureColor SC-F6000 printer, which will be on sale after PacPrint13 alongside the larger 64-inch SureColor SC-F7000 model. The SureColor F-Series printers are the first dye-sublimation models from Epson, and the first on the market in which every component, from ink and printhead to printer chassis and bulk ink delivery system, is designed and manufactured by a single company. The resulting machine offers output up to 1,440x720dpi for applications including soft signage, sportswear, apparel, accessories, and customised promotional items like mouse pads and ceramic mugs.

While several presses have already been installed in Australasia, this will be the first Australian trade show outing for the SurePress L-4033A short-run digital label press. It is designed for label converters’ first steps in digital printing or for expanding digital print capacity, large-scale product manufacturers and commercial printers, and is offered with a range of third-party pre- and post-press options.

Also on the Epson stand will be the latest large-format printers, including the SureColor S Series solvent printers and the Stylus Pro 7900 CTP for producing true aluminium litho plates.
