PIAA survey aims to improve members’ lives

Printers will have their chance to tell the Printing Industries Association of Australia what they think is relevant to their business, by participating with a PIAA run survey, which also gives them a chance to win an iPad or iPhone6. As part of its commitment to stay relevant with its members, PIAA has commissioned the survey called What is important to your business. The survey will highlight the measures PIAA can take to help printers run a more ‘profitable, sustainable and enjoyable business’. Speaking with Australian Printer, PIAA president David Leach says, “As your print business and the wider industry continues to evolve, we need to ensure we are still delivering the most membership value possible”.

Leach says, “Our focus is on providing the support and services printers need to make their lives easier.” He says the printing industry needs to look at the music industry to learn about how change can present opportunities to create a sustainable business model. “The music industry has gone through an enormous change, and it is making more money today than it has ever made before, and that is a perfect example of adapting to the new technology, and we believe our industry can do the same.” Leach says the board is proud to be offering these two surveys, which he says is a conversation starter and members can expect many more surveys to come.
