Positive signs for Heidelberg at AGM

The Group’s preliminary figures for incoming orders in the first three months of fiscal year 2004/2005 were just under EUR1.3bn, compared to EUR783m in the first quarter of the previous year. Heidelberg says this provides an excellent platform for sales in the coming quarters.

Preliminary sales in the first three months of fiscal year 2004/2005 were EUR710m, down on last year’s sales of EUR741m. Excluding sales from the Web Systems and Digital divisions, which were divested during the current fiscal year, preliminary sales are EUR602m, slightly above the comparable figure for the previous year EUR595m.

Due to difficult trading conditions over the 2003-04 financial year, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board voted at the AGM that no dividend be paid for the year under review.
