The advanced users workshop will take place both in Melbourne and Sydney and feature Canon’s 16.7 megapixel EOS 1Ds Mark II digital camera.
This event will also highlight Elinchrom Digital studio lighting and Canon’s professional lenses.
Participants in the workshops will gain knowledge at two of Australia’s best photography studios and be able to explore how Canon helps enhance profitability while also delivering the high quality needed to remain competitive in today’s challenging prepress environment.
Kayell recommends that prepress operatives, graphic designers, catalogue and magazine photographers, all photographers whose work ends up on press, advertising agency production managers and printers with in-house studios and prepress would gain much from attending and participating in the event,
Attendees will learn about the outstanding image quality achievable with the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II as well as how to colour-manage each stage of the production process. Participants will also learn how to differentiate their services from ‘run of the mill’ imaging; realise productivity gains using Adobe Camera RAW; and understand the DNG format.
The workshops will take place in Sydney on November 15 at Studio2 (Fairfax’s Sydney Studio), Alexandria and in Melbourne on November 22 at StyleLab Hire & Rental Studio, Collingwood.
