With the theme ‘connect to success’, all Heidelberg’s presentations will be adapted to the specific requirements of commercial printers, industrial printers, and packaging solutions.

All the solutions on display will have one theme in common: integration across the Prinect workflow. The Prinect Forum will be located at the centre of the trade show booth and will focus in particular on Prinect Colour Solutions, which support end-to-end colour management and comprehensive quality control from prepress right through to the press stage.

Heidelberg CEO Bernhard Schreier says Ipex is by far the industry’s most important international trade show in the coming year and the UK is one of the company’s key markets in Europe.

“Heidelberg is taking this opportunity at the midway point before the next drupa in 2008 to showcase a whole host of prepress, press, and postpress improvements to its customers,” says Schreier. “Integration of a printshop’s management and production processes is central to all the presentations as this currently offers customers the greatest economic benefits.”

Ipex will be held in Birmingham, UK, April 4-11, 2006.
