Ian Walz, national manager, learning and development at Printing Industries says the course is the final of a series being run in conjunction with the Office of Environment & Heritage NSW, SD Environmental Management and Applied Training Solutions.
He says, “We have identified Wollongong as the most convenient location for printers in the region and will run the course there.
“This will be the last opportunity for printing companies to participate in NSW under the current funding arrangements and get access to the resources that can save them substantial money and minimise the impact of rising power charges in NSW.”
The course – set to be held on October 18 – Is free and companies are encouraged to send up to two staff to the fully catered training day.
