Organisers say the seamless integration between VIIE and PrintEx11 has brought a broader range of innovation and technology to Sydney’s exhibition centre, as well as a more diverse demographic of show goers.
Mitch Mulligan, PrintEx11 board chairman says, “This year we have really gone beyond the traditional trade show giving visitors the chance to see a full cross section of the industry under one roof.
“We have also worked hard to maximise the opportunities that PrintEx provides by extending our marketing to the people who select which media to use and when. This initiative will draw new visitors and through our power of print showcase, demonstrate just how innovative, effective and sustainable print is.”
Exhibitors haven’t shied away from hardware this year with vendors bringing a plethora of working machinery to the show – Including Ryobi’s 925D A1 five-colour sheet fed offset press and Currie’s HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press – as well as a number products making their Australian debut.
Commenting on the show integration, Peter Harper, general manager, Visual Industries Suppliers Association says, “We are excited this year to be co-locating with PrintEx, finally bringing together the printing industry with the sign, graphics and engraving industries.”
Encouraging industry representatives to take advantage of the last two days of the show, which wraps up on Friday, Mulligan says, “Bring your team, better yet bring a customer and see what this industry has to offer.”
