Bernard Cassell, the major spokesperson for the promotional campaign and President of the Australasian Paper Industry Association (APIA) said, “Everyone in the industry should be excited by Printex 2011building on the industry campaign’s momentum from the last year or so.
“Printex will provide a great opportunity to link our messages – paper is sustainable and print is powerful. We have to tell our story well and over and over again in every forum we can find. That is the ultimate path to success in our efforts to promote our industry.
“We are looking forward to a major presence at Printex to really push these messages along.”
With GAMAA’s Adrian Fleming and PIAA’s Philip Andersen sitting with other industry leaders on the Steering Committee for the paper – part of every day campaign, further and better integration can be expected, according to APIA.
APIA’s campaign consultant, Tim Woods from Fitzpatrick Woods Consulting continues to advise the industry to “Tell your story, tell it continuously and tell it loudly. Only when people are sick of hearing you have they really got your message. That is, paper is sustainable and print is powerful.”
