PrintEx chairman Phillip Rennell says everyone from print and graphic communications industry should attend the exhibition to get ideas, inspiration and innovation, which will help businesses fly. The three-day exhibition, held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, from May 13 to 15, is the region’s only print show for 2015. Rennell says, “Our key aim for PrintEx has always been to ensure it would truly offer something for everyone, and I am confident that is exactly what visitors to the show will enjoy.”
He says it will be the best opportunity in two years for decision makers from Australia, New Zealand, and the surrounding Asia-Pacific region to explore the entire graphic communications spectrum. Registration for the event is free for those involved in print, graphic communications or related areas, and the event will provide forums and networking opportunities, which will focus on helping ‘businesses create value, improve efficiency, lift productivity, and increase profitability’. Rennell says PrintEx visitors will also be able to explore a full range of technologies from some 100 exhibitors. On display will be a comprehensive product showcase ranging from design, prepress and workflow, through print and finishing to associated services. He says the exhibition will also cater for a broad spectrum of suppliers of niche technologies and special interest products, together with a broad range of sign and display solutions, which will be available to PrintEx visitors via free entry into the co-located Visual Impact show. “This extensive 4000m exhibition will be complemented by perhaps the most comprehensive forum program ever offered at an Australian print show, providing a wealth of ideas, information and inspiration designed to help visitors understand how they might best capitalise on future opportunities,” Rennell adds. He says sessions will be held in three concurrent streams at easily-accessed theatres located on the exhibition floor. Rennell says, “In the Business and Efficiency Theatre, presenters will tackle issues including multi-channel communications, the value and role of paper and print, managing change, and the environment; the Industry Insights Theatre will be the venue to explore topics such as effective use of data to reach the customer, challenges in flexo and label printing, and new opportunities including 3D print, polymers and printed circuits, while in the Technology and Innovation Theatre, vendors will host thought-provoking sessions on future directions and new technologies.
“If this is not reason enough to attend, PrintEx will provide plenty of opportunity for valuable meetings with colleagues, competitors and friends, and will conclude with the Media Super National Print Awards, which will be held on the evening of Friday, May 15 at the nearby Waterview at Bicentennial Park. “Quite simply, PrintEx will be the place to be for anyone connected with print, so book it into your diary, register online today and make the most of this outstanding opportunity.” To register visit: www.printex.net.au.
