Graham Eagle, managing director of Printstock Products, says, “We want to grow our market and we are hoping to pick up on our foil paper manufacturing
The lamination we do is roll to roll adhesive lamination with gravure coating at the end. We sell it to packaging manufacturers like Amcor and Whitakers chocolates. In fact, we do almost all of the laminated foil paper for the chocolate companies in New Zealand.”
The company also prints flexographic with four flexographic machines. It has clients throughout Australasia but retains its manufacturing base in Napier, New Zealand.
Eagle has been coming to PacPrint for some time. He says, “This trade show has changed in the last eight years. It is more on digital and technology than it used to be. The market is headed to short runs and quick changeovers. Wide width machines mean too much downtime.”
His company continues to be busy. He says, “We employ 18 people in Napier and we run 55 hours per week. We like to add value to what we have.”
