ProPrint Footy Tipping Challenge: NRL round 7, AFL round 5

In the NRL, the Storm’s dream run was stopped by an in-form Warriors, the much-hyped Lockyer vs Marshall “battle of the five-eighths” was a decidedly Broncos-sided affair, and there were no perfect rounds in the ProPrint NRL comp.

The week’s best score went to Fuji Xerox’s education specialist, Pamela Aropio, who scored seven points and only missed out by tipping the Sharks over the Cowboys.

Raleigh Paper’s Trent Wilson tipped six from eight, helping him push Blue Star’s Nathan Ingle off the top of the ladder.

Other tipsters moving toward the top of the NRL ladder include CPI’s Teena Pyers and Paperlinx’s Andrew Bloomfield.

In the AFL, the unexpected first win of the season by massive underdogs the Gold Coast Suns ensured there were no perfect rounds for our tipsters.

One of the best rounds went to Jerry Randall from Ricoh, who is tied with three other tipsters at the top of the ladder.

But he wasn’t alone in having a strong round, with no less than 12 tipsters picking six out of seven.

These included Cheryl Moore from our generous comp sponsors Fujifilm, GBC Australia’s Simon Birch, Sol Print production manager David Garrod, The Adelaide Review’s production manager Karen Cini and Tania Keizer from Anitech.
