ProPrint editor Steve Crowe will interview Aida Greenbury (pictured), director of sustainability and stakeholder engagement at APP, with live guests and online participants able to submit their own questions.
Greenbury said the decision to participate in the interview was based on the company’s “ongoing effort to update and engage stakeholders on the sustainability of our operations, and to provide a transparent opportunity for them to ask questions and address concerns”.
“The more access customers have to what’s really happening at APP, the fewer the misunderstandings,” she said.
APP has faced criticism over its environmental record for a number of years, although it has repeatedly denied such accusations, and recently a number of its sites have become certified with Lembaga Ekolabel Indonesia (LEI) Chain of Custody and PEFC.
Broadcast from Sydney, the webcast is a live online interview that will be streamed over the internet. It can be viewed locally at 7:00pm AEDT, in the UK at 8am, and in Hong Kong and Singapore at 4pm.
A cross-section of people from the international industry have been invited to each location.
Registered participants will have the opportunity to submit questions during the live webcast. The webcast will then be made available for on-demand replay 24 hours after the event.
